About a year ago, the Hot Rod Shop moved to a new location. Marty and wife Jeanie are happy to announce that Jeanie and the Upholstery Shop have now moved to Marty’s location and have the new Upholstery shop fully up and running. The Upholstery shop creates some amazing and often award-winning custom vehicle interiors. The shop also has computer-controlled embroidery machines, so you can personalize your vehicle’s interior. Jeanie is excited, that they also now sell custom-created 18″ to 24″ Bucket Seats and 36′ to 54″ Bench Seats. You can have the seats custom-built to your specific needs. Leather, faux leather, vinyl, suede, two-tone, even three-tone designs are possible, just call Jeanie at 480-229-1214. Marty and the Hot Rod shop always have cool and interesting vehicles in the works. They specialize in working on the older vehicles, doing everything from simple oil changes and maintenance to complete custom builds including engine and transmission swaps. Performance upgrades like disc brakes and A/C systems and EFI conversions, even carburetor rebuilds and tuning happen all the time. In late November, Marty installed a new 2″ dual exhaust system with Flowmaster (type) mufflers on the 1966 Mercury Comet that l wrote about last month in my Points N Plugs column. Progress continues on an amazing full custom pickup truck, that Marty is building for the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Call Marty at the AZ. Hot Rod Shop at 480-229-0327. Please mention Roddin’ & Racin’ when you call Marty in the Hot Rod shop or Jeanie in the Upholstery Shop.
