Air-cooled VW’s are the house specialty at Dougs Buggs N Bunnies on Main Street in Mesa. They have a fully stocked Parts Dept. a complete Service Dept. and a complete Engine Dept.. Shop owner Fish, was just finishing a complete two liter VW engine build when l shot these photos. That upgraded engine will be going into the 1990 Beetle that’s shown below the orange 1974 Karmann Ghia. The Karmann Ghia is in the shop for some maintenance work. Two Baja Bugs are in the Service Dept. for complete engine rebuilds. A light blue 1974 VW Super Beetle is receiving full vehicle maintenance and some upgrades. Several months back, a 1958 Porsche Speedster kit car was fully mechanically built at Doug’s Buggs N Bunnies. The beautiful Porsche is back in the Service Dept. for a complete maintenance procedure, to get it ready for another fun road trip. These are just a very few examples of the mechanical work and engine building you can have done at Doug’s Buggs & Bunnies.
