FAST Motorsports in Apache Junction is a general automotive and transmission shop, that also specializes in working on the older vehicles and doing unique projects, including off-road and 4×4 vehicles. Shown here are three different and interesting vehicles. Up on a lift is a 2017 Ford F-350 long-bed crew cab dually pickup truck. The shop will be rebuilding its huge heavy duty 6R140 automatic overdrive transmission. They will also be installing new shocks and doing a four wheel brake job using Power-Stop brakes and rotors. This is a service truck for the Collective Medicine charitable organization that delivers medicine and other supplies including firewood to the elderly in the Navajo & Hopi Nation in Northern Arizona. Harley is donating the labor for this job to benefit the community. He also helps the Dine` Ba`’a`deit’i` charitable organization. A 1983 Chevy pickup is receiving a brand new BluePrint 350 Chevy V-8, with BluePrint aluminum heads and a new Holley 4 barrel carburetor. The truck also gets a new aluminum radiator and is being converted from turbo 350 3 speed trans to a 700R4 4 speed automatic trans and new torque converter, along with other misc upgrades. Another very unique project that’s underway at FAST Motorsports is a 1981 Chevy-based class C motorhome. The shop has removed the original engine & trans and have installed a brand new BluePrint Chevy 383 stroker crate engine mated to a FAST Motorsports built GM six speed 6L80 automatic

overdrive transmission. The RV also gets all new front suspension and brakes all the way around. This new combination will really wake up this 42 year old motorhome and provide great power with improved gas mileage and reliability. A Suzuki 4×4 Sammy came in with a vibration that the shop will diagnose. These are nice examples of the work you can have done at FAST Motorsports in Apache Junction.
