Michael D’s Kustom Koaches

Michael is a semi-retired craftsman that does the work in his homebased shop. He has well over 30 years of fabrication, modifications, and vehicle restoration experience. A very unique car in the shop right now, is a 1951 Pontiac Chieftain two door hardtop. It came in for some minor upgrades, but the owner has now added several more modifications. Mike has “frenched” in the front headlights and used lights from a 1955 Oldsmobile. He also modified the rear tails lights and used the lights from a 1950 Ford. The Pontiac came with chrome rear fender panel pieces, but the owner wanted a more custom look. Mike has removed those chrome pieces and modified and sculpted in new ribs, that will retain the original look, minus the chrome. This Pontiac is a great example of the type of work Michael specializes in doing. Mike works by appointment only, his hourly labor rate is $65.00.
