P RK Automotive in Mesa always has cool and interesting vehicles in the shop, here are a few recent examples. A 1967 Mustang convertible was at another shop for 4 years, the PRK guys are basically rewiring the entire car and fixing a bunch of problems. A 1949 Ford pickup is being completely re-wired front to rear with an American Auto Wire system. Several other misc. repairs and upgrades are also in the works. A 1961 Lincoln Continental is being converted to a GM-modified 6.0 LS V-8 and 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission, plus, a lot of other upgrades and tuning. A 1969 Chevy C-10 pickup is being converted to a GM Performance LSA (supercharged) V-8 and 4L60E AOD transmission. Progress continues on a unique 1956 Ford Crown Victoria major transformation build. It’s being converted to a GM 5.3 liter LS V-8 engine and 4L60E AOD transmission. A complete American Auto Wire front-to-rear wiring system has been installed. And a new Quick Performance 9” Ford rearend is another performance upgrade. These are great examples of the different types of work you can have done at PRK Automotive in Mesa.
