Sun West Transmissions & Radiators

One of the specialties at Sun West Transmissions in Glendale is also restoring radiators and gas tanks. Shown here is the radiator they fully restored from an old Case tractor. Also shown is a 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air, a 1964 Chevy El Camino, and a 1968 Mustang. The ‘54 Chevy had its original cast iron two-speed Powerglide transmission rebuilt. The ‘64 El Camino received a fully rebuilt automatic transmission and a full rebuild of its rear end. The ‘68 Mustang got a rebuild of its C-4 3-speed automatic, including an upgrade in the valve body and a new torque converter. The 3 cars are great examples of the older transmissions that Sun West specializes in, but they diagnose and repair/rebuild daily driver car and truck transmissions every day.
